Hai My name is udhay.

Recently we purchased LMH6553MRE/NOPB. We assembled the part in board.

We have designed to use split supply mode. When we are giving the both supplies +5V and -5V the device getting heated and taking current around 100mA on each supply.

what is the issue?

Can you help to solve this problem.

Hello Udhay,

After a cursory review of the schematic, it does not seem like there could be potential sources of oscillation occurring. Would you be able to assembly the LMH6553 on an empty PCB in the same gain/supply/loading configuration? If it is still drawing a high amount of current, would you be able determine at what supply voltage the amount of current increases above 30mA, by limiting the current to about 50mA and ramping the power supply connected to the LMH6553 from 0V to +/-5V?
