TLV4170: High input current when used for active clamping

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV4170, TLV9064, TL7726, OPA2990

art Number: TLV4170

Hi,

We are using the TLV4170 for active clamping of the signals in our prototypes PCB. We found that there was drop after the 100 ohm marked in the attached schematic pic. If the active clamping is removed, then the voltage drop is not happening.

We found that almost 300uA is consumed by the active clamping inputs of TLV4170. It shouldn't consume this much as per our understanding. Please help us understand where we are going wrong.

Thanks,

Aditya Teja
