Hi Team,

My customer would like to use TLV274, OPA4192, INA128 pspice model to run simulation, for the purpose of getting more accuracy result my customer would like to know whether the model build in the input noise in the properties? Customer would like to simulate out the ENOB with ADS1246. Please kindly give me your comment.

Hi Vincent,

yes, for the OPA4192 the noise is properly modelled. You will see it when you open the OPA192 TINA-TI Reference Design (Rev. C). Read the blue colored table.

Hi Vincent,

OPA192 has the noise modeling feature as Kai pointed out.

The TLV271-Q1 is the single of the TLV274-Q1. Both INA128 and TLV271 do not seem to have noise density models (models are dated back in 2011).

Hi Raymond,

I think the models of INA128 and TLV271 do at least simulate the input noise voltage density. Run the according reference designs.

Hi Vincent,

Kai is correct about simulating the input voltage noise in an Op Amp. Even the PSpice does not simulate voltage and/or current noise properly, you may do the following.

If you run Noise Analysis through Tina, and the Tina simulation does not properly duplicate the Voltage and/or Current Noise curves that presented in the datasheet , you may actual make your own noise model, until the noise plots match the datasheet, see the image below. The instruction in how to do that can be found in the video below.

Since my customer wants to use Pspice(Altium) simulation tool to run noise simulation, all these three parts at least have input voltage noise density in the Pspice models, right?

Previously, I stated that "both INA128 and TLV271 do not seem to have noise density models (models are dated back in 2011)." This statement is correct.. In other words, if you are trying to simulate the input noise voltage density as is from the current PSpice model, the generated curve will not match what is published in the datasheet. However, you can correct the input noise voltage density, if you follow the video instruction that I posted.

I am trying to get the input noise voltage density simulation for both parts. Hopefully, I can post them tomorrow.

We created input voltage noise density for the following Op Amps.
