LM2901-Q1: Question for LM2901-Q1

Part Number: LM2901-Q1

Hi Team,

Customer would like to know is there any problem with the signal amplitude at the input of the comparator exceeding the power supply of the comparator?

Ui has only two states:

  • Floating, at this time, the input voltage of the negative terminal reaches 32V, and the output is low
  • Ground, the negative input is zero, the output is high

Question:

The customer would like to know whether the 32v access to the negative input will damage the comparator when it is left floating?

Thanks,

Annie
