TLV8811: SPICE model Multisim Conversion

I download PSpice model and create the symbol in LTSpice, and the PSpice model did run. (I do not have multisim). However, the PSpice model did not work when I used the default Op Amp symbol in the tool. So I assumed that the PSpice model from the link is ok.

I use the following statement to create Op Amp symbol. I think that the pinout may be called out differently in this part. 

.subckt TLV8811 OUTA -INA +INA V- V+

DALLASAMP_HT4 subcircuit is called, however, the main subckt statement still indicates 5 pin part (it does not necessary mean 7 pin parts) . Can you ask your customer to recreate the symbol in the Multisim tool? 

When a simulation tool is imported a 3rd party PSpice model, not all the simulated features will work in the simulation tool. So our Macro model may not work fully in Multisim tool, but the basic op amp features should work. 

Please ask your customer to try it out, and see if the symbol is the issue.

The TLV8811 PSpice is likely working. I did not see the error message when I imported the PSpice model in LTSpice, though I am getting different types of warning and errors via LTSpice, which is expected. I was asking if you can ask your customer to verify the pinout connections that match the pin assignment in the model. 

Not all the features in our PSpice model will be compatible with LTSpice, Multisim or others. Same things can be said about the competitors' PSpice models, when it is imported into Tina. This is nothing new. 

Can you ask your customer to capture error log on the LTV8811 via Multisim? I can ask our model engineer and see what these errors mean. Maybe it can be ignored, if these features are incompatible with Mutlisim Sim Tool.

It is not clear what was the issue in Multisim. Have you tried the following?

1. Ignore the message, and proceed with the symbol generator with "Save". The .subckt LTV8811 is defined as 5 pins, though the DALLASAMP_HT4 model below that has 6 or 7 pins, which is defined on the bottom of LIB file. I generate the symbol from PSpice model three times via LTSpice (as 5 pins op amp), it did not prompt for any issues. It created as 5 pin Op Amp part from .subckt statement. So I will assume that Multisim should behave similarly. 

Also, the pin assignment from the error message does not seem to be correct. Please see if you assign the pin correctly in the part, and press Save afterward. 

2. Have you check with NI, and see if there is a way to get around the issue, if step1 does not work.

3. I spoke to model engineer and he generated OLB (stands for Orcad Library) file for LTV8811, but I am not sure that Multisim is able to import OLB model and convert into PSpice. Anyway, I enclosed the both LIB and OLB files below. 

I do not have better solution currently. Let me investigate the issue further. Meanwhile, pleas try steps 1-3.

I am trying to send *.OLB over the internal email, it got returned for an unknown reason.

If all attempts are failed, can your ask customer to use behavior model for TVL8811? The part is able to simulate in LTSpice, Tina, and Cadence tools. Your customer may be able to simulate the part separately in one of simulation tools,.
