INA826: The latency issue in the low temperature

Part Number: INA826

Hi  Experts:

Could you please give the latency of the INA826 under the full range of working temperature (-40 ~125degree) , particular in the -40degree.

please see the schematic below:

  • Hi Jason,

Thank you for your post, I can help you. I think you are referring to "phase delay".

There is no strong temperature component of phase delay, the larger component of variation in our INA826 are the absolute values of the RC internal to the IC (these can vary up to 20% in either direction).

Are you interested in the time delay at a particular frequency? Also, are you interested in the phase delay from BNC to output? Or just through the INA? What does your input signal look like? We can build this in TINA, simulate it at a specific frequency and calculate the delay from input to output.

I think it would be best if you could build this in TINA and specify the exact input signal. Here is the link to download TINA Spice to build your circuit: https://www.ti.com/tool/TINA-TI (You can attach your file here to me)

    Here is the INA826 model:

  • Hi  Tamara :

Thanks for reply.   i just want to know the phase delay of the INA826 , the blue is the input of BNC and red is the output . i know the input RC filter will impact on the delay , But i still want to INA826's phase delay.

have you got the data of the phase delay of INA826 in the low temperature.

    26

  • Hi Jason,

If you just want to know the phase delay of the INA826 at a particular frequency, we can simulate that in TINA spice. It's not spec'd in the datasheet, and we don't have information at -40°C. The simulation will give you performance at 25°C. As I mentioned above, there is no strong temperature component of phase delay, the larger component of variation in our INA826 are the absolute values of the RC internal to the IC (these can vary up to 20% in either direction).

Please let me know what your input signal is and the frequency of interest so we can calculate the phase delay.
