TLV2171: output not worked as expected value, seems the negative input cost ~uA current

  How about TLC2272AIDR?  There is no back-to-back diode description in TLC2272 datasheet, suppose it could worked for comparator application.

Hi Ben,

The TLC2272 is only a 16V device. Does the customer only need up to a 16V supply? If yes, then I recommend the TLV9152.

  Customer used single 5V power supply, so the 16V TLC2272 should be OK for the power supply,  another key point is that TLC2272 has been verified in another projects.

  Could you kindly confirm that TLC2272 could be used for comparator application?  expect for your reply, thanks.

Hi Ben,

I will need to verify in the lab that the TLC2272 does not have back to back diodes. Even though the absolute maximum rating table lists a max differential voltage of 16V sometimes the device has back to back diodes but includes an internal series limiting resistor to limit the current to less than 10mA with a 16V differential voltage. This may take a few days depending on if we need to order samples.
