Part Number: TL331

Team,

can you confirm that the "input bias current" (Iib) in the datasheet specifies the maximum current that the device can draw?
(-400nA over full temp range)

My customer needs conformation that this is the critical value for their design and that the device does not draw too much current from their input side.
They are using TL331IDBVRE4.

Thanks

  • Yes, the TL331 has a max input bias current of -400nA over temp (-40°C - 125°C).

We also have a low cost "B" version of this device (TL331B) that has much better performance characteristics across the board, including max input bias current of -50nA over temp (-40°C - 125°C).

    Regards,

    Jonny
