We would like to confirm some information about this technical document.
We have a maximum range of Common-Mode Voltage is +-40V.
Let's assume on pin 16 (V+) we supply +15V and on pin 4 (V-) I supply -15V, are we going to have RCV Out (pin 14) negative voltage when detected current is under 4mA? since @4mA, we have 0V output.
Is our presumption correct?

Hi Mark,
There are many different ways to configure the RCV420 device for different current to voltage transfer functions; so please provide the specific schematic you are referring to. Please refer to the datasheet for commonly used circuit configurations.
For example, with the RCV420 configured as shown in the figure below, it produces 0V to +5V output for 0 to 20mA input current flowing into the RCV420.
Using this configuration, at 4mA input, voltage output is +1V; and at 0-mA input, output is 0V.
However, there are many other ways to configure the device to obtain the desired voltage output range.
Let us know which input current range (flowing into or out of the device) and output voltage range is desired and the RCV420 circuit could be customized.

In addition to Luis' response, if you are using the configuration shown in Figure 1 of the RCV420 datasheet, you will have a negative voltage for current inputs below 4mA. As Luis mentioned, the datasheet provides the transfer functions needed to customize the desired output range.
