Part Number: LM339

Hi,

We are working with voltage sense circuit, We refer some of the documents in TI. In sensing circuit, LM339 is used. we can change from LM339 to TL331? because LM339 is a quad pack. We need a single-stage 5-pin comparator.

but TL uses only one op-amp in LM339, there are any special reasons for using LM339. We can change the IC(TL331)?

With Regards,

  • Hello Nivetha,

Yes. The TL331 is the single channel version of the LM339. They are electrically identical.

You may also want to look at the new TL331B, with improved performance.
