I am using Tina-TI
I am trying to Simulating a fault in a diode by changing the fault field to open.
There is no observable difference in the virtual oscilloscope, trace of the downstream circuit, Am I missing something basic here?

Hello Willem,
Thank you for your inquiry about TINA-TI. Since TINA-TI is a DesignSoft/TINA program, questions are handled by using the DesignSoft support page: http://www.tina.com/technical-support/ .
The DesignSoft/TINA team is very helpful and this is the most direct way for TINA support. Please advise by Reply when the issue has been resolved.

Hello Kai
File attached below , although I think it has been inserted as a link ?
The cct is the start of a power supply for a cct that is having unexplained failures of a downstream TVS diode. I am building up the cct bit by bit as I am unfamilier with TINA-TI, so I am trying to understand what I can do with it. D7 is at fault open but I still volts at VM2 on the CRO tool.
leonard has advised in the next post, to post on the design soft site which I will do as well. Not sure why it ended up on the amplifier forum.
Hi Willem,
I think this is one of the features that isn't supported in the free version.
Kai
Thanks Kai, you are correct, Design soft tech support have confirmed feature not available in the TI version.
