Hi Eric,
What PC Operating system are you using? USB2ANY driver is only supported 32 bit based OS operating system.

32-bit version of USB2ANY driver is what we have. Please provide us the information about your development system.
Best,
Raymond
I have now moved onto a VM with Windows 8.1 32-bit. The device shows up as "Texas Instruments Input Device" whether I just plug it in or I plug it in with the button held down. I have installed the App I need -- TICS Pro, but there is now offer to update the USB Device firmware. When I select USB communications -- Communication Setup and USB2ANY it just shows "USB Disconnect"
I have installed "USB2ANY Explorer v2,8,0" -- it discovered the device and attempted to download firmware but experienced the same problem as on Windows 10. See screen shot. I have two separate hardware devices with the same problem so I'm disinclined to believe that it is broken hardware.
Thanks for your help...
Hi Eric,
Please take a look at the following threads over E2E, and see if it may help you to solver your issues.

Our team is supporting Precision Op Amp products in analog circuit. We are not familiar with USB2ANY products. However, I am trying to find an engineer who has worked with the product, and able to help you to solve the issue.

I have a MacBook Pro running VMWare Fusion. The "guest" OS is 32-bit Windows 8.1. I've noticed that the failing case is identical between 64-bit Windows 10 and 32-bit Windows 8.1. I'm wondering if the underlying issue is not which version of Windows is running, but instead VMWare's USB emulation. I know from past experience that USB device drivers that work well on various versions of Windows, don't always work with VMWare.
Hi Eric,
I am still looking for an engineer who is able to help you with USB2ANY firmware in VMWare operating environment. If you are able to install the tools in windows based 32bit OS system, it is probably the best options currently.
Best,
Raymond
My most recent move has been to take VMware completely out of the picture. I have started using an old Lenovo laptop with Windows 7 and all of the previous problems have gone away.
Given that my issue with 64-bit Windows 10 and 32-bit Windows 8.1 under VMWare were virtually identical, I'm inclined to think that VMWare is the issue, possibly their USB emulation, even when selecting the "USB 2.0" compatibility mode.
I am now able to update the USB2ANY firmware, both in the dongle and on the LMK03318 EVM, without issue.
If I have any other problems with this, I will post again, but for now my firmware update issue has been resolved.
thanks.
