  I have some questions about TIDA-00854 Micropower Electrochemical Gas Sensor Amplifier Reference Design

 In the schematic design document of TIDA-00854, the resistance RC is placed between the CE pin of the gas sensor and the op amp output, while in the TIDA-00854 design guide, the resistance RC is placed between the RE pin of the sensor and the negative input of the operational amplifier. Why is the resistance RC designed between the CE pin of the gas sensor and the op amp output in the schematic design document?

    The text located in section 2.3.2 of the reference design explains that a "potentiostat bias feedback circuit" is used to "maintain the proper sensor RE to WE electrode bias." 

    From my understanding, this circuit would be different depending on the sensors used. The image depicted in the block diagram explains that the section labeled "Potientiostat" is where the appropriate circuit would take place in a broad example.

    However, as is evident in the schematic, the "potentiostat" circuit used is for the given sensor is different. 

    I can see how this would be confusing, especially if one did not open the schematic and was trying to recreate the design solely off of the block diagram. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. 

    To summarize, the block diagram shows a broad bias feedback circuit and this would be different depending on the sensor.
