What is a 3-wire 4-20mA current transmitter? How do I use one?
A 3-wire transmitter can be used with a local supply to transmit control data to remote devices. One wire is connected to the local supply of the transmitter. A second wire connects the shared ground of the transmitter and receiver. The third wire carries the analog output signal.
