OPA855: OPA855

Part Number: OPA855

Hello,

Can I operate the OPA855 with split voltages --> Negative Voltage: -3.2V,   Positive Voltage: +2V.

Regards,

Giora

  • Well Giora,

As long as you observe the I/O headroom limitations, should be ok

The other factor is the disable pin voltage. I am guessing this is off the positive supply where if you shift these voltages to be headrooms from the positive supply, you can get the right operating range. Also, I suspect the Enable voltage line should say "On above this voltage" So recasting these logic limits worst case, anything above +2V-3.2V or -1.2V should be on, anything below 2V-4.35V or -2.35V should be off. Hopefully, you just want to be on and can tie the PD pin to the positive supply.

  • Michael,

    Thanks.
