LMH32401: if the -VBIAS of LMH32401 connect to GND directly, what will the negative bias be between Vin- and Vin+

Part Number: LMH32401

Hi Team,

May I ask if the -VBIAS of LMH32401 connect to GND directly, what will the negative bias be between Vin- and Vin+?

If using PD instead of APD, there is no need for a large negative bias, about -0.5V is enough.

  • Hi Amelie,

the input pin of LMH34201 is biased at +2.47V. Of course, the anode of photo detector can be connected to 0V while the cathode is connected to the input pin of LMH34201. A reverse voltage of 2.47V is dropping across the photo detector then.
