Hello team,

My customer is evaluating the INA4180-Q1 for automotive application and they requested us to provide the gerber file of INA4180 EVM and PCB layout guidelines for optimal operation, especially for robust against noise and EMI. Can you provide the gerber file and PCB layout guidelines for my customers?

Hey DY,

The INA4181EVM is a relatively simple design and was not designed, optimized, nor tested for noise/EMI rejection.

A couple simple guidelines for noise immunity are:

- Route the input traces as differential pair.

- Place decoupling capacitor as close as possible to Vs pin.

- Place and input filter close to the input pins.

- Place GND planes all around the device and it’s input and output traces as shielding from potential noisy adjacent nodes.
