INA181-Q1: Vos spec for INA181A4-Q1

Part Number: INA181-Q1

Hello Team,

My customer is evaluating INA181A4-Q1(gain=200V/V) in his system and asked about the Vos(Offset Voltage) spec @TA= 25C and TA= -40C to +125C for  INA181A4-Q1(gain=200V/V) as example below. Because the Vos spec from INA181-Q1 datasheet seem to be included all gain versions(INA181A1/A2/A3/A4-Q1). He wants to know the exact specs for those of INA181A4-Q1 only. Please help to provide the relevant data asap.

Best regards,
DY

  • Hello Team,

I attached the example table as below that my customer requested.

    Best regards,
    DY

  • Hello DY,

Please refer to Figure 4, 5, 9, and 10 of the datasheet for specific information about the A4 version. Using the offset drift, the CMRR, and the CMRR drift shown in the figures, you could calculate the maximum offsets at 12-V VCM and 0-V VCM and over temperature.

    Sincerely,

    Peter

  • Hi Peter,

    Thanks for your kind response.
But my customer keep aksing us to provide the exact electrical spec of VOS for INA181A4-Q1 (gain=200V/V) asap.

    Best regards,
    DY

  • Hey DY,

We cannot provide this type of information in the form requested. The maximum and minimum electrical specifications of table 7.5 are maintained through careful statistical analysis and/or direct measurements of the device. Thus we cannot create more specifications for a specific gain variant (A4) with same level of confidence as the currently published specifications because we do not have the data or testing procedures in place to ensure this.

The best I or anyone can do is to use Figures 1, 4, 5, 9, and 10 to determine an approximate 6-sigma Vos for the A4 variant at 0-V and 12-V VCM and over temperature.

If you need more support, please email me directly with more information.

    Best,

    Peter
