Hello,

Need to confirm if PCB routing for IN+ and IN- signals need to be a differential routing (100E differential) or these should be considered as 2 separate single-ended nets? In slyy154 document, it is mentioned that current sense resistor should have 4 connections for better measurement but it does not say anything about differential or other routing requirements.

Kindly clarify.

Hi Pankaj,

there's no such need for the input lines of INA233.

Pankaj,

For best performance, we do usually recommend that the traces be short, and of roughly equal length. Long trace lengths, and different sized lengths will create additional errors in the device, although these errors are very small. We simply recommend this to avoid the issue altogether.
