Hello Team,

Good day.

My customer wanted to confirm if the 5962-1821001VXC rad tolerance enough to cover our requirement? Their requirement is TID below 1Krad and it is pity to use the rad-hard version 5962L1821001VXC which is tested at 50Krad.

    If you do not need a part tested to this level of rad-hard performance, I would recommend having a look at the INA240-SEP, which is space enhanced plastic version of our popular INA240. This device is tested for Total Ionizing Dose (TID) RLAT for Every Wafer Lot up to 20 krad(Si), and is probably a better fit if you do not need the 50krad hardness of the INA901.

    Good day.

    I accidentally click the Resolved on the proposed solution, TO be honest, my customer cannot move to the INA240-SEP.
    In addition to the technical differences, the proposed solution is not qualified and, since they need at least class 3 components, this will result in additional testing/justification activities with the customer.

    To be honest I thought that, since the very low radiation requirement, you could have supported us with some data or justification for usage of the 5962-1821001VXC.

    The INA901 TID characterization report INA901-SP Total Ionizing Dose (TID Report) applies to 5962-1821001VXC when it comes to characterization of radiation performance. I believe this report will have the data you need.
