AMC1301: AMC1301

Part Number: AMC1301

1. if I can tie pin 6 to pin 5, I can see some voltage difference between pin 6 and pin 5 if I use a 100 ohm series resistor;

2. I saw one thread about the EMC noise around 1Ghz, can you provide me possible reason and solution for that.

Thanks,

  • Hi Hailong,

    For Q1) Pin 5 of the AMC1301 is the user side ground reference, while pin 6 is one of the differential outputs. Pin 6 is driven based on whatever voltage is applied to the input side of the device so it's not surprising that you would see some voltage difference. Can you tell me what you were expecting to see?

    For Q2) EMI related issues are usually layout related. I do not remember the specifics of the post you referred to, but we'd be happy to review your schematic and layout as well.
  • Thanks, I will try.
