DDC112 Supply requirements

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DDC112

Hi to all,

now I think I'am in the right place to post my question about DDC112.

My question is underneath but I also noticed a similar unanswered question in the medical Forum: "DDC112 AVDD and DVDD issue" by Ron Ying. Please also read my question and tell me what's going on!

Hi,

I have two questions concerning DDC112:

1.If I use two separate Supplies for Avdd and Dvdd, does a specific sequencing exist between the two?
This amounts to the same question as Rons!

2.What does the following restriction mean?

“Prior to power-up, all digital and analog input pins must be

LOW. At the time of power-up, these signal inputs can be

biased to a voltage other than 0V, however, they should

never exceed AVDD or DVDD.”

Does it mean:

Analog inputs should not exceed Avdd AND Dvdd

OR

Analog inputs should not exceed Avdd only

 AND

Digital inputs should not exceed Avdd AND Dvdd

OR

Digital inputs should not exceed Dvdd only

ie. do the inputs have restriction to their respective supplies or both?

Thanks in advance,

Tarik

  • Tarik,

At the moment we are not aware of any power sequencing requirement. I am looking into your second question at the moment and I will get back to you. You can email me if you need to - adam.sidelsky@ti.com
