What should the PowerPad exposed pad on the bottom of the TPS76801 be connected to? I assume Ground, but there is no definitive statement.

In general this pad should be connected to ground. I will double check and get back to you to confirm.

Hello Leon,

Sorry for the delay. I have confirmed that this pad is floating metal in the package. Therefore, there is not a requirement to where it should be connected. Connecting it to ground should work.
