AFE4300: SPI Interface Configuration

Part Number: AFE4300

Hi Support,

I'm using STM32L4 microcontroler and AFE4300 sensor using SPI.

SPI baudrate is 20 MBit/s.

I'm asking for the SPI configuration mode?

ie: CPHA (0 or 1) and CPOL (0 or 1)

Hi,

On the product folder under tools and software (www.ti.com/product/AFE4300/toolssoftware) I only found the AFE4300EVMPDKFWSRC-1.0-windows-installer tool,

where I can't find SPI interface configuration.

Did I miss something ?

Ghada,

That tool is what is used to download the software. Click the executable and follow the prompts.

Hi,

I apologize for my late reply.

Using the AFE4300 device GUI, I was able to modify AFE4300 Registers only.

But I'm asking for SPI configuration to use.

ie: CPHA and CPOL configuration. that is not mentionned in the datasheet.

Where can I find these informtaion ?

Hi Ghada,

Here is the answer.

CPOL = 0: The idle state of SCLK is LOW.
CPHA = 1: Data is changed on rising edge and sampled on falling edge.
