TIDA-00195 reference design

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00195, LAUNCHXL-F28027

hello,

i have completed the TIDA-00195 reference design.

but it doesn't work at 60V test voltage.

i assume that the input voltage is too low, and i would like to check the logic of the hardware in a relatively safe voltage,

so, What is the minimum power supply voltage of the reference design?

  • Hi Chang,

We will contact the authors to get the information.

  • Hello Chang,

When you mention "completed the TIDA-00195" reference design - do you meant building your own hardware ?

Regarding the supply voltages, the board has 2 connectors: (a) CN1/CN2 to feed the Inverter DC bus voltage and (b) P1 (supply voltage for control electronics - 24vdc). You may refer to schematics for the connector designators.

The Inverter can be operated  at any dc bus voltage less than 800vdc, said that it will work fine at 60vdc input. Please remember that for the board to work you would need Piccolo Launchpad LAUNCHXL-F28027 along with the Software to generate the PWM signals required for the inverter to function.

  • we have confirmed something wrong with our hardware, thank you very much.
