DRV3205EVM: Need help to use the EVM with TMS570lc43 launchpad

The DRV3205EVM GUI/firmware are designed for use with the TMS570LS12X launchpad, not the TMS570LC43. Do you have a TMS570LS12X launchpad available? The User's Guide should cover all additional set-up needed to use the EVM.

For our application we have shortlisted TMS570LC4357. We will definitly be using this controller for our motor control application. So we have purchased both launch pad and the HDK for the same device. We do not have the launch pad for TMS570LS12 but we have an HDK for this device.

I would really appreciate if we could get some help in creating the sample projects (sensored, sensorless and the encoder) for TMS570LC4357 launch pad.

I have tried modifying the HALCoGen project for sensorless sample project for DRV3205EVM but its not working.

Hello Saruabh,

The NHET assembly code which generate 6 PWM signals for DRV3205 should be modified too. The IHS1 pin (DRV3205) is driven by one PWM from LS12x NHET1_20. If you use LC43x launchpad, the IHS1 will be driven by LC43x NHET1_2.
