DRV8873-Q1: Estimated date that this IC will be on the market

Part Number: DRV8873-Q1

Hi,

We have requested a full datasheet of this IC and after taking a look at that, we think this could be a good candidate IC for motor control.

So could you please give an estimation of when this IC could be introduced to the market? Is it gonna be in a short or long term?

This information could help us to decide to select this IC or go with an alternative while it is still in preview.

I am really looking forward to your response.

    Hi Bach Le,

    It is short term. The device is scheduled to be introduced by the end of this quarter.

    Thank you so much for your help.

    Just to make it clearer:

    1) So Production Samples would be available on the market by this quarter, right? (not Engineering Sample)

    2) Has the life cycle testing for this IC been completed by the time? I.e. will the reliability data available be final, including FIT, confidence levels etc.?

    3) Could I request to have about 20-40 samples for our development in the meantime?

    It would be nice if you have provide us the lead time for the samples as well.

    Correct. Production samples should be available by the end of the quarter.
