cc3200 power supply operation using 2 standard AA battery

Dear All,

We are planning to operate cc3200mod by 2 standard AA cell (1.2V each) in series having voltage 2.4V.

Does 2.4 V have any affect in working operation of CC3200MOD?

Also let us know if any power booster circuit is required or we can connect directly by two standard AA cell?

Hi Tanvi,

Be sure to be aware of section 4.5 in the CC3200MOD datasheet. Peak currents during Tx or calibration could be a concern, but this should be tested in your system.

Thanks for your prompt response.

I referred to the section 4.5 in the CC3200MOD. I am a bit confused regarding at which voltage the device will enter Brown out voltage and black out voltage??

Ah, it looks like this is missing from the module datasheet. It should be the same as listed in table 4-1 of the CC3200 datasheet (pg. 28):
