TMDXIDK5718: Raw camera sensor data capture

I have a AM5718 IDK (TMDXIDK5718) with a Leopard imaging camera module (LI-3M02). It appears that the 8-bit data (in YCbCr format) coming out of the camera module is pre-processed (i.e., AWB, AE etc. have already been applied). I would like to get the raw sensor data into the board. Is it possible to do so?

From the LI-3M02 datasheet it seems that the output format is fixed to YUV (YCbCr). See:

Hi,
Thanks for your response. We are, however, interested in capturing raw sensor data, which according to MT9T111 datasheet should be possible. Here are a couple of additional questions:

1. Can the AM5718 handle raw sensor data if we configure the MT9T111 (Aptina/Micron sensor) to output either RAW8 or RAW10 using either parallel or MIPI interfaces? Gstreamer element vpe does not seem to accept raw sensor data (video/x-bayer)...
2. Can we access the MIPI interface from the LI-3M02 daughter card? Are there corresponding pins on the TMDX1DK5718 EVM?

2. No, the Camera board does not have the CSI signals routed out.

No hardware accelerators inside AM5718 device process on RAW data. You can get the raw data in using VIP but for them to be able to be further processed by hardware accelerator, they need to be convert in YUV or RGB format. RAW data can be processed in software using DSP and/or ARM.

There's no pins on AM5718 IDK EVM to interface with MIPI connection.
