TPS5401: Slope Comp and Current Limit Details

Hello,

For the TPS5401, can we share the internal slope compensation values so the customer can design the rest of the circuit in accordance with those values?

Also, this application will require just under 600mA peak switch current, which is close to the min current limit spec. We want to avoid entering current limit mode unintentionally. The .6A min current limit spec is at 25C, will the spec increase or decrease as temperature increases?

Thanks for waiting. We cannot share loop compensation but this can be tested in the lab.

ILIM will go down ~linearly with increased temp (depending on many factors). Our tests show 0.69 A at 25C, down to 0.63A at 125C. So absolute worst case ILIM=0.6A at 25C could theoretically go to ILIM=0.55mA at 125C. To be absolutely safe, I'd say stay below 0.55mA at 125C.
