Hi,

Let me talk about PC and other core status register.

My customer want to save PC and other core status register(MMFSR, BFSR, HFSR and so on) to EEPROM
when ecception is occured.

How to get these parameter using SYSBIOS ?

Take a look at the following: training.ti.com/debugging-common-application-issues-ti-rtos

This should give you an idea on how to plug in an exception hook (different device, same idea).

You can save whatever you want.

I saw your training document.
But sorry I can not understand.

Actually I want to get PC, SR and save these parameter to EEPROM.
I can see these parameter when exception occur for debug.
Exception_excDumpContext is executed and I see this parameter.

I can not get these parameter in raiseHook function.
How to get these parameter in raiseHook function ?

Hi Hiroyasu,

Am I understanding your situation correctly? You want access to the core registers in a non-exception context?

If this is the case, this is not kernel specific. You will need to write in assembly to access and store core register values onto the stack so your EEPROM functions can store them.

I got it.

I find this source code for access CP15 register.

C:\ti\pdk_am335x_1_0_6\packages\ti\starterware\soc\armv7a\gcc

But I can not find soruce code to get value of CP15.
Can you tell me if you have any sample code if you have.

It appears that there are special instructions to access these co-processor registers. They are detailed in these ARM documents:
