TPA3251: Capacitor value on AVDD and DVDD PINs

The datasheet for TPA3251 suggests in Figure 25 to use a 1uf capacitor on DVDD pin11 to GND and a 1uf capacitor on AVDD pin14 to GND. What is the maximum capacitor value that can be safely used on each pin to avoid any (power on) surge damage to the internal regulator section of the chip?

    Hi Daniel,

    We designed the device to require a 1uF on DVDD and AVDD. While it's possible other values will work for it, we cannot guarantee the device will function to the datasheet specifications as it was never validated for any values except 1uF. 

    Why are you wanting to consider different capacitor values?
