PCM1796: the behavior when input 32 bit audio data to 24bit DAC

Hi

When using 24bit DAC like PCM1796,

If user send 32 bit data to the DAC(24bit), is there any problem?

example setting:

DAC :  24-bit MSB-first, left-justified format data

BICK from master : 64FS

My expecting behavior is lowest 8bits will be ignored.
