TPA6204A1: What is the maximum gain of TPA6204A1?

Hello Sir:

We are using single end input.

and we try to modify R459 to 7.5K, R460 and R461 to 15K.

But we heard the sound has no change.

Can you please help us to check the schematic? is it right?

And please let us know the maximum gain of TPA6204A1.

Hi Statham,

The input resistors along with internal feedback resistors (40k) should set the gain.

What is your input signal shape and amplitude? Can you share some captures of the test?

Hello Ivan:

Please refer the input and output waveform as below.

Peak to peak is 360mV that is input, peak to peak 540mV that is output.

We are trying to change higher gain and retest again.

Did you check our schematic? is that correct?

Please provide your recommendations for us.

Hi Statham,

Please let me know the results after you change the gain.
Regarding the schematic, it looks OK, although I would ask to try with and without the filter at the output. This is a class-AB amp so I would not expect noise emissions due to switching like class-D amps, perhaps the filter is not required.
