PCM1774: PCM1774 periodic noise

Part Number: PCM1774

Hi I am using an STM32F7 for audio playing via I2S directly to the PCM1774.
It's working perfectly for 20 second and after I get for 4 second an audio with noise. This noise it's came periodically after each 20 second for 4 second

I am asking if you have face a problem like that and if you could give me our opinion about this issue.

Thanks,

  • Hi Jabrane,

I have not heard of a specific issue like that with the PCM1774.  Is it possible that you have a clock synchronization issue? What is your I2S source? Is LRCK/BCK directly derived from the SCK source? Do you see similar noise or transients with your power supply? I would be valuable to monitor the supplies and VCOM pins to see if there is something abnormal occurring during that time.

    Thanks,

    Paul
