It is difficult to say why it is not being detected.  Please launch PurePath Console 1.16 to see if it can connect.  That will give us more information.

Yes, it should allow for playback.  You can use the Direct I2C access tab to run the .cfg files generated by PPS.

I want to see a 1khz sinewave. My process flow is this.

The tone generator is set as below.

And then I have loaded the .cfg file generated by PPS in PurePath Console.

Are all these procedures right?

But it seems that I still cannot see the sinewave from TP16 or TP17 by using the oscilloscope. 

Hi Wuxin,

Try this:

1. Use PPC1.16 to just play USB audio.  Do not load the custom .cfg file yet. 

2. Confirm that there is audio output on the output of the PCM.

3. Load and execute your file without reseting the EVM.

Did it work? You can also try the attached process flow.  There might be an issue because you are not adding the digital audio input as well.
