TPA3250: Operation in negative temperatures

Dear Team,

My customer has the following requirements for a speaker amp: 

4 channels (can optionally use 2x2channel parts)

Vsupply:  16.8 - 33-6V (safe up to 38-40V)

Power: 4x20W@24Vnom, independent regulation, SE, BTL or PBTL

Temperature range: -40C do 85C

The TPA3250/TPA3251 seem to be appropriate except for the temperature range requirements. Do you have any recommendations regarding cold start? How do these parts behave at below 0C?

    Hi Daniel,

    The recommended operating conditions is 0~125C for TPA3250, so the performance in any operating condition out of this range is not guaranteed. 

    I would recommend TPA3255-Q1 for this application, which is an automotive grade device and supports -40~125C temperature range.
