    Hi Gust

        There's no register to specially control the I2C in which mode. When you use I2C in Standard or Fast mode, please take care of the signal requirement in the datasheet, as the table below. For example, if you use SCL clock higher than 100kHz, the I2C should work in Fast mode. In this case, the Rise time, the Fall time and other parameters must accord with table 7.10.  Thank you.
