Hi Sir

We check the Register Summary Table between TLV320ADC3120 and TLV320ADC3140, It is almost the same.

TLV320ADC3140 have more channel than TLV320ADC3120.

But TLV320ADC3140 have Linux drive on TI's Website only

So my question is could we build the Linux driver for TLV320ADC3120 base on TLV320ADC3140, what do we need to pay attention to Linux diver?

Does TLV320ADC3120 support:

Case 1: 1 AMIC + 4 PDM MIC work together.

Case 2: 1 AMIC + 2 PDM MIC work together.

I mean Amic(Analog) and DMIC(digital ) Recording at the same time.

Hello,

As for the two cases you gave, those could both work.

As for Linux we cannot really provide too much support besides providing any drivers we have access to, but my recommendation is too compare register maps of the two parts to determine which items in the 3140 are not in 3120 to give you an idea of what should be eliminated from the 3140 driver.
