Hello Sir:

Can you recommend a pin to pin part for replacing LM4952?

Or can you recommend a class AB part and the total dimension is smaller than LM4952?

Please help to provide recommendations for us.

    Hi Su,

    LM4950 is a similar device, it does not feature DC vol control so the pins are distributed a bit different. No difference in size though.

    If you can provide more details on the application requirements it would help to find alternatives:

    • What is the output power requirement? What is the speaker impedance?
    • Do you need specific supply voltage level? LM devices like LM4952 require voltages higher than 5V.
    • Other devices like TPA62xx and TPA20xx are supplied by 5V or less, and these are available in smaller packages
    • TPA31xx are higher voltage, higher power amplifiers, perhaps these can be options as well although these are Class-D devices.
