LME49721: Reference layout design for audio differential signals

Hi,

I am using LME49721MAX/NOPB in my design. Can you please share any reference layout design where signals are routed in differential format. The reference layout design provided in the datasheet is for single ended audio signals.

    Hi Shifali,

    Unfortunately there is no previous design as example for differential inputs, however some recommendations are listed below:

    • Keep all traces as short as possible
    • Place VDD decoupling capacitors as close as possible to the IC
    • Route the input differential pair as symmetric as possible
    • Use low tolerance components in the signal path for lowest mismatch
