TLV320AIC3204: Headset detection

Hi Sir,

We are currently experiencing a problem with the headset detection function of TLV320AIC3204. When a 4-segment earphone is inserted, after a slight pause (about 0.5s), the earphone will be recognized as a 3-segment earphone, which makes it impossible to using the MIC to record voices. I have tried to set the anti-shake time recognized by the headset to the maximum 512ms, but it does not work.

Do u have any good suggestion for this question?

Hello,

Perhaps more insight in the signal connections of the headset to the TLV320AIC3204 device pins will be useful in finding a root-cause to fix this?

Headset's mic function requires a possible connection to the MICBIAS pin via a series resistor. Kindly ensure MICBIAS is powered up and is set to the level compatible with the headset microphone.

Also, please note that the headset detection block requires AVDD to be powered and Master Analog Power control in Page 1, Register 2, D(3) to be enabled.
