    Hello Hanno,

    The TAS5548 and TAS5558 are very similar, their registers are mostly the same and they are pin compatible. The difference being that TAS5558 accepts an external MCLK along with the usual I2S signals when the TAS5548 needs a crystal to clock and does not use an MCLK.
