TAS5825M: I2C clock cannot go high

Part Number: TAS5825M

During these desperate time I bought some TI chips via Taobao instead of TI directly (no stock).

I assembled about ten boards and they all show similar behaviour:

With the chips in place I cannot get the I2C clock high.

When I remove the chips, the bus responds again.

Instead of jumping to conlusions (chips are fake); has there been some silicon change recently?

I have produced 100's of working boards with this chip, but now.

How to proceed?
