Hi team,
Does the Class D output have any protection? The sound from the speaker is stopped (no PWM) when the loud signal is played with high gain. The high gain setting is necessary to achieve clipping below 0dBfs.

Hi,
If the gain configuration and output level is following the data sheet setting, they should work and not damaged the part.
No output could be caused by many things. Is this not working even after recycle the power?
Page 46 of the data sheet provide more info of the class D driver.
Regards.
Hi pdjuandi,
The customer doesn't write these registers. The left side mean an address and the right side is a data, correct? What is the page number (0/1)?
And it should be written every time just before the Register 73: Class-D Control Register, otherwise only at the startup initialization?
Regards,
Kazuto
Hi Kazuto-san,
I'll get back to you as I'm confirming the data.
Regards.
Hi pdjuandi,
I understood it contains page, and these writes prior to enabling Class-D as below. so the left side mean an address and the right side is a data, correct?
0x00 0x0D
Address Data
