PCM2704C: Without external ROM.

Hi team,

My customer wants to use PCM2704C.
Does it work by default setting without external ROM?

Some models want to eliminate ROM to reduce costs.

And, if it can use without ROM, how to terminal unused pins?

Kengo,

The PCM2704C/6C support an external ROM interface to override internal descriptors. If they don't need ROM why not using other options in this family of parts as shown in datasheet.

Kengo, The PCM2704C/6C support an external ROM interface to override internal descriptors which means it already has some predefine configuration in case ROM is not used.

With the same token PCM2705C should work without any external setting. I am also double checking it again and if I found other wise it will let you know.
