ADC6120EVM-PDK: TLV320ADCx120 EVM App installation does not work

Part Number: ADC6120EVM-PDK

Installing the PurePath-Console (v3.2.1, platform: build 306) from "my secure resources" (cf. https://www.ti.com/securesoftware/docs/securesoftware) has worked fine. But now I have problems with installing the TLV320ADCx120 EVM App from the console. When trying to install according to the user manual (SLOU408), it says “Problems occurred during installation. Refresh Available EVM Apps before trying again” (cf. screenshot below). I am wondering if it could be that the ADCX120EVM-SW is not provided There are only two PDFs in "My secure resources" (cf. screenshot below).

Have you been able to use PPC3 with other device apps smoothly? or is this firs time installation?

Hello again,

I don't know if this might help you but when I go into the folder where the EVM App is downloaded , there is a addon.tar.gz. Trying to unpack it with 7-zip results in an error "Unexpected file end: addon.tar"

However, when I open "addon.tar", I can find a folder "TLV320ADXx120":

Checking the data, I get a further "data error" with a Matlab-DLL:

Hi Carson,

I have installed the software on my notebook (Processor: Intel i7-8650U, 16 GB RAM) instead of my desktop PC (Processor: Intel i5-7500U, 16 GB RAM) Surprisingly, the software works now and I can finally connect to my evaluation board. So it looks that my desktop PC does not fulfil the minimum system requirements. Task can be closed.
