TAS5731: MCLK Connection

Hi E2E,

What is the best connection for MCLK, is it connecting MCLK to SCLK together or connect it to a external MCLK? What's the difference between these two connecting solution? Does it affect the S/N and THD of the ouput?

    Hi Carlo

        The MCLK and the SCLK are not same for most of the times, please check the picture below to choose the right frequency sent to our device. We always send the MCLK and SCLK separately to meet different occasions. 

        But if you insist to set the MCLK and SCLK the same, 64fs. You can try connect them together, I think there should be no affections.
