Hi,
TAS5805M can playback well.
But when playback 0db sound data, the TAS5808 just output 3.5v Voltage to speaker.
We think it's small.
Do you know what the normal voltage range is?
thanks

Hi Zhiqiang,
What is PVDD value? Can you check the DAC Gain and analog gain?
Hi Zhiqiang,
1. Your application is on TI EVM or your board?
2.Pls check PVDD is normal when play music.
3.Pls provide your initial configuration file. Or how to configure IC in your application?
Hi Yang:
1. Your application is on TI EVM or your board?
>>>
Yes,we use our board
2.Pls check PVDD is normal when play music.
>>>
The PVDD always is 19.4v
3.Pls provide your initial configuration file. Or how to configure IC in your application?
>>>
I have updated the driver and register, and please check it
thanks
Hi Zhiqiang,
I use the configuration you provided to log in on our EVM, but can't reproduce this issue.
Pls help to check the circuit and the input of your board.
Do you add DSP function in your application?
Could you find an EVM to reproduce this issue?
Hi Yang:
Could you find an EVM to reproduce this issue?
>>>
sure, but could you tell me how to loader head(.h) files?
We can create head file by PPC3
But if we load head file, the PPC3 can't show the changes.
Like:
Change the gain from 0db to 1db
Created head file, and load head file again
The PPC3 still show 0 db gain
thanks
HI Zhiqiang,
If you have a TAS5805EMV and can use PPC3 to initialize TAS5805MEVM, suggest you to run TAS5805MEVM to satisfy your requirement then use PPC3 to dump header file. PPC3 cannot support header file, it only support cfg format. If you want to load header file you need to modify the header file to cfg format.
