Hi team,

I tried to evaluate AIC3262 with a stick evm but my laptop(win 10) can't find the firmware of it. (Diode 1 is not lighting.)

I followed guidelines from "6266.How to Revive a USB Audio EVM" document. 6266.How to Revive a USB Audio EVM_AIC32xxx.pdf

But It didn't work on step 2 which is shorting SDL and SCL of EEPROM.

I'm so confused.. Could you please help with it?

Also, Which software should I use to evaluate AIC3264? There are several SW that I found: PurePathStudio and AIC3262 CODEC control. which one of it?

Hi Jay,

So you have followed these steps in the user guide and you don't see the EVM in the device manager.

And when you short SCL and SDA, do you short them at the EEPROM? What do you mean it doesn't work at step 2?

Once SCL and SDA are shorted together, you should continue on the next step to connect back the USB cable and after 5s remove the SCL/SDA connection.

You can then proceed to run the DFUTEST.exe.

The GUI for AIC3262 is shown below in the product folder.

My EVM for AIC3262 is STICK EVM. So there isn't TAS1020B but TUSB3200AC. I guess that's why I couldn't run with DFUTEST.exe.

Could you tell me how to reset EEPROM with TUSB3200? My issue is exactly same as below thread. Please refer it.

The steps should be the same except step 16, are you connecting the I2C bus at the EEPROM side?

Any possibility to try on other OS like this case?

No I'm using USB port. I guess it keeps conflicting because TUSB3200AC is mounted on the EVM. Do I need an extra EEPROM writer? If yes,Would you please provide Part Number?

Hi Jay,

In the user guide page 10, you will see the schematic U3 is the EEPROM (24AA256-I/MS Microchip).

Follow the steps again and when asked to tie the I2C bus, tie the SCL and SDA by the EEPROM.

Understand and I'm working on the broken links.
